What exactly are we celebrating?
Every week, wonderful things happen, tiny things, which make us smile. But as time grabs us up, we forget all about these moments as if they never existed at all. This is the chance for us to reflect back on those and remember that there are tons of things worth celebrating.
This week, I'm celebrating. . .
1) My youngest son's birthday! He had quite the day of activities planned, which kept us on our toes, but it was tons of fun.
2) A day or two of cool temperatures between the hot ones! It's beginning to get hot and muggy, so any cooler day is always a treat. Next week there should be a couple too.
What about you? What put a smile on your face this past week?
Discover some change in the bottom of your sock drawer? Pet a sweet kitty? Did you finally complete something you've been wanting to do for a long time?
What are you celebrating this week?
Happy Birthday to your youngest. We went from torqueing hot days to down into the low 70's. Strange weather. Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteThe 6weather has been bouncing around. Today we have mid-80s and tomorrow is supposed to be in the upper 60's. So strange!
DeleteOur car with the roof racks has been in the car shop all week. I'll celebrate if it comes home tonight so I can go kayaking! I celebrate even more if they are some fun waves waiting for me.
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous! Have fun and attack those waves!
DeleteGlad you had a fun party with your little one. And some cooler days. Happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend!
DeleteI appreciated the cooler weather, too. ^_^ I'm at a hotel right now and have the mist beautiful view of some trees. ^_^
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your son!
I'm dying to hear how your weekend went...and what gems of information you know have!
DeleteI think I'm having the inverse of you, weather-wise - this weekend was two days in the 90s with days in the 70s on either side. >_< I'm celebrating that my friends gave me a small plug-in AC unit that they didn't need anymore (lucky them with their central AC), as it's about the only thing making my apartment bearable right now. Oi!
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated Birthday to your little boy.
ReplyDeleteShout outs to your little boy. I'm celebrating the fact that I got to see a spontaneous car show this week. #CTST
ReplyDeleteBirthdays are always fun and cooler temps are something to celebrate for sure!
