Celebrate the Small Things!

It's time for another edition of. . .

CELEBRATE THE SMALL THINGS!

This is a weekly blog hop sponsored by the amazing Lexa Cain, and co-hosted by L.G. Keltner from Writing Off the Edge and myself. Every week, wonderful things happen, tiny things, which make us smile. But as time grabs us up, we forget all about those moments. This is the chance for us to reflect back on those and remember that there are tons of things worth celebrating.

If you'd like to join in and add a little more joy to your week, then go ahead over to Lexa's or simply pop by the linky below!

This week, I'm celebrating. . .

1) Warm weather! We had a couple days of very nice weather this last week, giving me a chance to head out into the yard and do a little weeding and cleaning up. Now, it's time to figure out what flowers I'd like to plant this year.

2) A surprise package from an author whose book I'm reviewing! There were all sorts of goodies inside. A bribe? Nah! But it was nice to get, and definitely put a smile on my face.

3) Good grades. Keep those coming kids!

And what about you? What are you celebrating this week? Notice the trees budding? See a funny commercial? Hear a song you haven't heard in a very long time? What put a smile on your face this past week?

Yeah, it's pretty, but I'm not too crazy about the warm weather. Bugs everywhere. Bah. Lol!

  6. Glad to hear about the warm weather and the good grades! I think if I got a swag package for a book I was reviewing, it would affect my review. Lucky for me, no one would ever send anything all the way to Egypt! lol

  10. Packages full of goodies are always great! We've had some warm weather, though we got snow this morning. Fortunately, the snow had all melted again by the afternoon, and I'm hoping that'll be the last of the snow for the season. Please let it be the last.

  11. Congratulations on your kids maintaining good grades. You must be proud of them. And congrats on the surprise package. That sounds like a great boost to the day. I've enjoyed the good weather, too. My husband was out pruning grapevines yesterday, and I see that i have a little weed-pulling to this week. We still need the rain, but I do enjoy these warm days.

  12. Tonja, the warm weather is a nice reason to celebrate. Last week we had several beautiful days and we got outdoors to enjoy the weather. It was super nice. This weekend has been nice, but not as warm and the evenings a lot cooler. I'm glad it's now officially spring! Congrats to the kiddos for getting good grades!! *applauds*

  13. It is good to have the warm weather coming back, what with today being the first day of Spring and all. ^_^ Hope your flowers bloom well this year.

As for myself, I don't think I have anything to celebrate this week.
