Celebrate the Small Things

It's Friday again!!! Yep, it really, really is.
And that means it's time for another edition of. . .

This is a weekly blog hop sponsored by the amazing Lexa Cain, and co-hosted by L.G. Keltner from Writing Off the Edge and myself. Every week, wonderful things happen, tiny things, which make us smile. But as time grabs us up, we forget all about those moments. This is the chance for us to reflect back on those and remember that there are tons of things worth celebrating.

If you'd like to join in and add a little more joy to your week, then go ahead and sign-up on the linky below!

This week, I'm celebrating (and quickly this week. . .sorry if it feels hasty)

1)  Cookies! I don't think that one needs any explanation.

2) Christmas Trees! Ours is finally up.

3) Fog.  This isn't something I always celebrate, but there is a beauty. . .mystery to it that is wonderful.

And what about you? What are you celebrating this week?

  1. Yaaay! Cookies definitely do not require an explanation. :-) This week, I'm celebrating finally being able to work on my own publishing stuff ("real" job keeps interfering), and researching the new laptop I plan on buying! :-D

  2. Cookies and Christmas trees and fog are all worthy celebrations! Yesterday we had a ton of fog here...it's so eerie and lovely, =)

  3. I wouldn't make any further comments on cookies either! We can all imagine how yummy they are! Happy weekend.

  4. We had some beautiful fog floating about Wednesday night. I really wanted to pull the car over and snap some video. ^_^

I hope you have a weekend!!

  5. Cookies are always worth celebrating. And so are Christmas trees. Hopefully, we'll get ours up this weekend. Enjoy your weekend! And the cookies. :)

  6. Yay for cookies - those are always something to celebrate. The fog sounds creepy! I want pics of the Christmas tree! Have a lovely weekend. :)

  7. I'd be happy to celebrate cookies, now only if I had some in the house:)

Yay on the tree.. mine's been up for a couple of weeks now. Got in early for once.

  8. Cookies rule! When the Christmas tree is up then you know Christmas is around the corner. I love to walk in the fog.

  9. Fog is a great writing prompt. You can stare at it and imagine what may come out. Gring! Gring! Gring! :-P

  10. Fog is a great writing prompt. You can stare at it and imagine what may come out. Gring! Gring! Gring! :-P

  11. Cookies! Chocolate chip? Double chocolate chip? Triple chocolate chip cookies (mmm yummy)? Cookies are always good. :D

I love fog. I agree with you there is something mysterious and beautiful and I love landscapes where the fog merges gracefully with nature.

Have a lovely weekend Tonja and a brilliant week ahead.

  12. I have my tree up. I made a new rule last year...whatever decorations I have out by 12/12 is what I go with. If they're not out by then, they stay in storage. The holidays are too short to work all through them. I mean, there are those cookies you speak of!

  13. Cookies are always worth celebrating. ^_^ And last night, I helped my friends decorate the Christmas trees that we went out into a forest and cut down ourselves, which was fun.

As for me, I'm celebrating signing a lease yesterday on a new apartment. I don't move in until next month, but it's a much better place, and I'm so happy to get it.

  14. This past week was not much of a celebrating one, but the current week is looking up! Lots of Christmas-y things going on, and I'm feeling better than I did last week, so I'm actually enjoying the preparations. Have a wonderful holiday!

  15. Those sound like wonderful celebrations!
    I'm celebrating renewed health!

I would love to hear your valuable Tidbits -
