Celebrating Those Small Things!

This is a weekly blog hop sponsored by the amazing Lexa Cain, and co-hosted by L.G. Keltner from Writing Off the Edge and myself. Every week, wonderful things happen, tiny things, which make us smile. But as time grabs us up, we forget all about those moments. This is the chance for us to reflect back on those and remember that there are tons of things worth celebrating.

This week, I'm celebrating. . .

HUGS!  They're simple, but at the right time, they bring so much.

And what about you? What are you celebrating this week? Read an awesome book? Try on your first Halloween hat or mask at the store? Get to go for a lovely walk? What put a smile on your face?

  9. Hugs are wonderful. My daughter was telling me about a friend of hers (they are 5th graders) who got a hug from her Kindergarten "buddy" and how cute it was.

I got to take a kayak ride yesterday in the most gorgeous cool weather, saw some geese fly right overhead, battled some big waves, got wet, and enjoyed the beautiful clouds. Definitely a highlight.

  13. What a simple but sweet thing to celebrate! My baby's hugs are the best. I know they'll only last for so long, so I'm enjoying each one.
