Celebrate the Small Things

It's Friday and time again for celebrating those small things in life. Thanks to Lexa Cain for sponsoring this wonderful hop and to her great helpers,
L.G. Keltner @ Writing Off The Edge
Katie @ TheCyborgMom !

This week, I'm celebrating...

1) Chocolate chip cookies. These are always worth celebrating.

2) Two new calves. At the cattle auction this week, I picked up some really, sweet baby ones... only 300 pound. Teddy bears.

3) Sunshine. We've had a couple warm days and this weekend should bring a couple more.

And what about you? What are you celebrating???

  1. I made chocolate chip cookies the other day. They sure didn't last long. Between my husband and my two boys, it's amazing I got to eat any of them at all!

  5. Cooookiiiies!!!!! Any and all cookies are worth celebrating. I don't think I've ever known anyone who bought calves before. I obviously lead a sheltered life. lol I hope the good weather keeps up for you, and you have a great weekend! :)

  7. Awww I love cow's, I'm so envious, but for now I will sadly have to keep dreaming. One day though I intend to have a small holding and animals galore.
I've never baked cookies in my life. If I hadn't just started a diet I might have given it a try. Hmmm is a need to bake cookies a good excuse to break the diet. Well, anything is a good excuse for me, the problem is getting hubby to agree :)

  9. I am celebrating massive revisions on my manuscript that -- so far -- are making me really excited. I still have some big things to address in the end, but if my luck holds out, the solutions will come to me as I get to them. Congratulations on the calves!

  11. My husband's father got new calves this week too. He hates it when they decide to be born on snowy days!

  13. I'm celebrating doing math with the kids and they are understanding it. What a breakthrough! Better than a box of cash coming in the mail. Almost.
