The weather really is weird. It's supposed to be 80 degrees here today after being down in the 30s at night last week. We always buy a little extra Halloween candy, too. :) Have a great week!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4429089326602617796.post-16228334946366567272016-10-17T10:04:36.354-07:002016-10-17T10:04:36.354-07:00There was a period of time- I think in the 80s, wh...There was a period of time- I think in the 80s, when people were so worried about tampered with candy and Satan worship that Halloween took a hit. And my apartment has a gas fireplace, which makes everything better.

I don't think I have anything to celebrate right now, though. It's been a very rough month. >_<Mason T. You have to grab that time while you can. That's a shame about Halloween since it's so much fun for kids to dress up ad get candy. I'm wondering about your religious community now. Amish? LDS? I hope they allow Santa Claus and Christmas trees. Anyhow, yay for Halloween candy in your house! They are going to be carving hearts into pumpkins to raise money for supporting children in poor communities around the world through World Vision and their motto "Create a world where every child is free from fear" which I think is a lovely idea. Our house we discovered is considered "too scary" for the youth around here to visit - it does have a very long dark driveway - so I won't have too much need for sweets/candy I suppose :) Special Teaching at Pempi’s PalaceSENCO Cat Herderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16026889857534425125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4429089326602617796.post-41710201143463708852016-10-14T12:40:02.115-07:002016-10-14T12:40:02.115-07:00Yay, family! ^_^

My kids covered the entire dining table last year with their loot. We have them pick out their favorites and give the rest away. I hope I can resist eating it all.
